# Restore or Migrate Accounting Data
Please use one of the following methods for data migration or recovery.
# 1. iCloud Data Recovery
If you have enabled iCloud automatic backup, the data will be uploaded to iCloud during your usage. When switching devices, simply log in with the same Apple ID on the new device, enable iCloud, and manually restore the latest data.
The steps for manual backup and data recovery are as follows:
- On the old device, go to:
App Settings -> Data Backup ->
Backup Data
;
- Once the backup is successful, on the new device, go to:
App Settings -> Data Backup ->
Restore Data
.
Please ensure that both the backup and restore processes are performed with a stable internet connection and that iCloud is enabled.
# 2. Database Recovery
If you accidentally delete data or need to migrate data across different Apple IDs, you can use the database recovery feature.
Steps:
- On the old device, go to:
Settings -> Data Backup ->
Export Database
;
Transfer the file to the new device (via AirDrop, WeChat, etc.);
On the new device, go to:
Settings -> Data Backup ->
Import Database
.
Please note, keep the database file in .zip format. There is no need to unzip the file or enter a password for import/export.
# 3. iCloud Cloud Sync
Version 4.0.0 and above supports cross-device cloud sync functionality. You can enable this feature on multiple devices to synchronize data between them.
- On the old device, install version 4.0.0 or above, and go to:
App Settings -> iCloud Cloud Sync ->
Enable Sync
;
- Wait for the old device to upload the data. The status will show as successfully uploaded in:
App Settings -> iCloud Cloud Sync -> Sync Status;
- On the new device, also install version 4.0.0 or above, and go to:
App Settings -> iCloud Cloud Sync ->
Enable Sync
.
Please ensure that the sync feature is performed with a stable internet connection and that iCloud is enabled.
